As a passionate chess player, my long-standing ambition was to design a chess set. Inspired by the timeless design of traditional chess pieces, which are deeply ingrained into our collective consciousness, Slot is athoughtful reinterpretation, drawing upon the essence of the classics while infusing modern flair. Slot stands as a tribute to the enduring popularity of chess, revitalised for contemporary design connoisseurs. Every move with Slot becomes a ballet of design and strategy, inviting players to immerse themselves in one of the world’s oldest games.

Novelty or minimalistic chess sets on the market often bear no relation to traditional chess sets. While decorative, they often fall short in gameplay, leaving players adrift in confusion. Slot aims to bridge this gap, featuring a clean and minimalist design without sacrificing playability.
The varying heights and distinctive of slot patterns, both on the side and atop the pieces, ensures a clear distinction from any angle. Moreover, each slot pattern draws inspiration from its classic counterpart, enabling players to intuitively recognise each piece, regardless of their level of experience.
