Modular Design: Built for the Future

The second-generation Charging Lounge, first implemented in Hamburg-Rahlstedt and now in Leonberg, introduces a fully modular construction approach. The lounge modules are manufactured locally in Baden-Württemberg, Germany and then transported to their final location. This approach allows for greater efficiency in deployment, making it easier to establish new locations while maintaining Porsche’s high design and quality standards. The modular design also enables the charging lounge to have different configurations, adapting to various sites with different restrictions. This means a charging lounge can have just 2 chargers or 10 chargers or more, but they all share the same design and can be easily expanded.

Exclusive Comfort:
A Space Designed for Porsche Drivers

More than just a charging station, the lounge is designed as an exclusive retreat for Porsche drivers. Access is reserved for Porsche owners, ensuring a premium and seamless experience. Inside, the lounge offers a refined atmosphere with digital check-in systems, high-end furnishings, and carefully curated amenities. Every detail has been considered to provide a welcoming space where drivers can relax, recharge, and enjoy a moment of comfort before continuing their journey

Sustainability: Commitment to the Environment

Sustainability is a key aspect ofthe new design, with the integration of solar panels, energy-efficient technologies, and carefully selected materials that reflect Porsche’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility. The lounges are equipped with photovoltaic systems on the roof, and a digital building management system optimizes electricity consumption, automatically dimming the lighting when no guests are present. A heat pump is used to warm and air-condition the lounges, further enhancing their sustainability.

The foundation is made of concrete. However, the use of this material is largely avoided in the modules. These are primarily made of steel, stainless steel, wood, and stone and are manufacturedby a partner of Porsche based in Baden-Württemberg, using electricity from renewable energies.

Ultra-Fast Charging: Power Meets Efficiency

At the heart of the Charging Lounge concept is cutting-edge ultra-fast charging technology. Equipped with high-performance DC chargers delivering up to 400 kW, the stations enable significantly reduced charging times, allowing vehicles to recharge quickly and efficiently
